| |
This article aims to show Malay womans experience in writing short
stories and to study the impact that she has left on the development of the
art of the Malay narrative specifically and Malayan literature in general.
This study also reveals that Malay women narrative occupies an
important position on the map of Malaysian literature; where women are
no less significant than men, so that it is impossible to talk about the
history of the Malaysian narrative without mentioning the pioneering role
of women. |

Abstract
|
| |
The Traditions of the Prophet (SAS) constitute the second source of Islamic
teaching next to the Quran, Scholars therefore laboured on the collection and
compilation of those traditions and on distinguishing between authentic and
weak hadiths for this purpose, they devised specific methods and set up
criteria and conditions. Scholars also were concerned about the explanation
of the Traditions; thus many commentaries or the major collections of hadith
have seen the light of day. |

| |
Having a widespread presence in the different disciplines of Arab-Islamic
scholarship, tafsir and tawil belong to a category of problematic and
controversial concepts in Muslim intellectual heritage. This study attempts
to trace out these two terms and their usage in the scriptural sources (the
Quran and the Traditions of the Prophet), the Arabic language, and their
early use by scholars, with a view to shedding light on the contexts in
which they had been used. |

Abstract
|

The history of Islamic philosophy is one the areas of Islamic scholarship in
which academic studies are relatively scarce in the Arabic language; until
quite recently, European and Orientalist writings have had the upper hand
in this field. Likewise, Islamic philosophy has been represented in a
negative light underestimating its originality, place and effect. |

Abstract
|
| |
The significance of words and the semantic change affecting them are
among the important issues in modem linguistic studies. Indeed, this has
become an independent branch of scientific study in our time. The
importance of semantics and semantic change stems from their influence
on the modes of expression of positions and ideas and the ways of
communication and understanding among human beings. This is subject to
different considerations that have to be taken into account if such
communication and understanding are to take place in the best possible
manner. |

to the fore the Qurans guidance with regard to the political and social
