Abstract
|
| |
Rural women in Bangladesh are the most deprived part of the society
and majority of them are extremely poor. They have very limited access to income generating
activities and consequently less opportunity to improve their livelihood status. Microcredit programme
contributes to improve the livelihood status of rural women in Bangladesh. This study
examines the extent of changes in livelihood status of rural women through their involvement in
microcredit programme in Bangladesh. The study reveals that the rural women, after joining
the microcredit programme, have been able to engage themselves in income generating activities and
consequently improve significantly their livelihood status... |

Odor originality and fraud is an important issue in todays world. In
addition knowing the original material that an odor belongs to even after being mixed with others is
also of vital importance. In addition measuring quality of mixed odors in terms of their affinity and
belonging to a specific category or is critical. Design, testing and analysis of multi-sensor
odor system for the objectives of odor recognition, classification and correlation are carried out.
Various mixtures are tested and checked for originality through inheritance using The built

Abstract
|
| |
This study focuses on problems of congestion and how they might be
treated in Universities, also investigates a methodology to measure undesirable outputs congestion in
addition to inputs congestion, from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Congestion indicates
an economic state where inputs are overly invested. Evidence of congestion occurs whenever reducing
some inputs can increase outputs. The main thrust of this study is to measure congestion in
undesirable outputs and inputs by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), by a proposed linear
model... |

The present work describes a theoretical investigation concerning the
performance of a four strokes compression ignition engine, which is powered by alternative fuels in the
form of diesel and diesel biodiesel blends. The developed simulation model used to
estimate the cylinder pressure, heat release rate, brake thermal efficiency, brake specific fuel

| |
Agricultural residue seems to be one of the most promising energy
resources for developing countries. Among the other fruits, durian is a popular one for Thai people.
Therefore, a large amount of durian husk is left at the shops or factories. This study was aimed to
investigate the characteristics and heating value of durian husk and to develop a heating value equation
of Thailands selected biomass. Approach: The approximate analysis of 17 kinds of biomass,
including durian husk, was carried out. The heating values of these biomass residuals were also
examined... |

Despite the significant influences of university entrepreneurship
programs in developing students entrepreneurial intention and abilities, there is little knowledge about
how such programs shape students abilities to successfully lead entrepreneurial activities.
The main purpose of this qualitative study was to explore the impacts of university entrepreneurship
programs in developing students entrepreneurial leadership competencies. A sample of 14
undergraduate entrepreneurial leaders defined as having been highly involved in leading university

Abstract

The education of Information Technology (IT) in Taiwan has been promoted since 1997.
However, there were still problems with the current environment of IT education. The major problem was that students were unable to practice after school with the same
environment and there was no appropriate space to save their files for students, so it was not
convenient for students achievement of learning. The service of private cloud computing
was adopted in this study to establish the education environment of information technology for
resolving these problems... |

Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate and compare the soil biological
properties of a natural forest and an 18-year-old stand of Shorea leprosula in Chikus Forest Reserve,
Perak, Malaysia. Soils were sampled at depths of 0-15 cm (topsoil) and 15-30 cm (subsoil)
in six subplots (20×20 m) of natural forest (C1) and of a planted S. leprosula (C2) plot. Fresh
composite soil samples were kept in UV-sterilized polyethylene bags prior to analysis in the
laboratory. The microbial population count was determined using a spread-plate count technique. |

Abstract

Leea species was originally placed in the family Vitaceae but was later
placed in the Leeaceae due to the anatomical differences between the two families. A
comparative study on the stem and leaf anatomy of Cayratia mollissima and Pterisanthes caudigera
(Vitaceae) and Leea indica (Leeaceae) was conducted to investigate anatomical differences which
could provide additional differentiating characters for supporting this treatment. The

Abstract

Most of the control engineering problems are characterized by several,
contradicting, conflicting objectives, which have to be satisfied simultaneously. Two widely used
methods for finding the optimal solution to such problems are aggregating to a single criterion and
using Pareto-optimal solutions. Non-Dominated Sorting Particle Swarm Optimization
algorithm (NSPSO) based approach is used in the design of multiobjective PID controller to find the
constant proportional-integral-derivative gains for a chemical neutralization plant... |
