Abstract

MHD flow of a Jeffrey fluid in the gap between two parallel co-axial non-conducting porous disks of which one is rotating and the other stationary is studied in the pres-ence of a uniform axial magnetic field. The expressions for the velocity field, average normal force and the torque on the disks are obtained. |

Abstract

In this paper, a production Inventory model is developed with constant leakage rate (that may a ect the output during the production as well as sale period) and exponentially dependent demand without shortages. The Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) for items, occurring leakages non instantaneously is considered. |

Abstract
|
| |
Following Lawvere, a generalized metric space (gms) is a set X equipped with a metric map from X
2 to the interval of upper reals (approximated from above but
not from below) from 0 to 1 inclusive, and satisfying the zero self-distance law and the triangle inequality. We describe a completion of gmss by Cauchy lters of formal balls. In terms of Lawveres approach using categories enriched over [0; 1], the Cauchy lters are equivalent to
at left modules. The work investigates the powerlocales (lower, upper, Vietoris) of localic comple-tions of generalized metric spaces. |

Abstract
|
| |
The modulation of nonlinear ion-acoustic waves and their stability are studied through some typical balance of higher order dispersion and nonlinearity of warm plasma medium by deriving a Nonlinear Schr odinger Equation (NLSE) through a Modifed Reductive Perturbation Technique (MRPT). Further the strongly disper-sive ion-acoustic solitary waves (IASW) in warm plasma and their modulation have been studied through a Higher order equation of NLSE (HNLSE). |

Abstract
|
| |
This paper concerns optimal lifecycle investment and consumption of a Constant Relative Risk Aversion (CRRA) investor, who has a finite investment horizon and is subject to the proportional transaction costs and a rate of return that is time varying, as a representative of pension plan participants. Attempt was made to maximize the investor’s utility by trading between stock and money market ac-count. The case of no transaction costs led to a Bernoulli equation,, while a set of partial differential equations are derived when transaction costs are involved and closed form solution proffered. |

Abstract
|
| |
The purpose of this paper is to ensure the existence of xed points for multival-ued nonexpansive weakly inward non self-mappings in uniformly convex metric spaces. Abkar and Eslamian (Nonlinear Anal. TMA, 74, 1835-1840, 2011) prove that if A is a nonempty bounded closed convex subset of a complete CAT (0) space X; p : A ! A is a single-valued quasi-non expansive mapping and P : A ! AB(A) is a multivalued mapping satisfying conditions (E) and (B ) for some 2 (0; 1) such that p and P commute weakly, then there exists a point w 2 A such that w = p(w) 2 P (w). |

Abstract
|
| |
An unsteady two dimensional boundary layer flow with momentum transfer of a vis-cous incompressible and electrically conducting fluid saturated in a porous medium with suction / blowing is studied. The permeability of the medium fluctuates with time about a constant mean. The surface absorbs the fluid with constant velocity and the velocity oscillates depending on the stretching rate. |

Abstract
|
| |
Let G = (V;E) be a graph. The minimal equitable dominating graph MED(G), is the graph in which its vertices are all the MED sets and any two vertices are adjacent if the intersection of any two MED sets is non empty. In this paper we study some interesting properties of these graphs, we get the characterization for the graphs where its MED(G) is connected and also those graphs in which MED(G) is complete graph. |
